A little bit about me…

I’m so excited to welcome you to The Expressive Mess Club, where we make all sorts of colourful chaos! I’m Clair, your creative buddy for this wild ride through art magic. I live and work in Melbourne, Australia. I've been fully immersed in the joyful mess of painting since 2014, and working as a professional artist. I have also been teaching online and in-person art classes for many years now, and I love sharing my art knowledge with others. I strongly believe in paying it forward - I learnt my skills from others over the past 25 years, and now it’s my turn to pass that knowledge on to the next generation of creators.

After years of bouncing around teaching art on platforms like Skillshare and YouTube, I realised that keeping up with all that was starting to feel overwhelming. So, I figured, why not bring all my creative shenanigans into one happy little corner of the internet? And voilà, the Expressive Mess Club was born!
